Learning to Lead Through Giving

Purposeful Philanthropy introduces the Sankofa Philanthropy Camp, a virtual camp that teaches young Black males leadership through charitable giving.

​

Participants will learn how philanthropy impacts civic engagement and social change!

​

Sessions will be held virtually every Saturday 10 a.m.-12 p.m. central time. Besides becoming better leaders, participants will:

​

• Earn 20 community service hours.

• Compete for funds to donate to the charity of their choice.

• Learn from community leaders.

• Benefits of giving

• Systems theory

• Policy and politics
