Looking Back: Pledge to Serve

On March 8, the Purposeful Philanthropy Foundation hosted its first event. Two speakers joined me and PPF board member Eddie Francis for "Pledge to Serve". Free and open to the public, "Pledge to Serve" presented the public with information and insights about how the servant leadership of "Divine Nine" fraternities and sororities has created sustainable change in communities. The "Divine Nine" consists of fraternities Alpha Phi Alpha (Eddie's fraternity), Iota Phi Theta, Kappa Alpha Psi, and Omega Psi Phi and sororities Zeta Phi Beta (my sorority), Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, and Sigma Gamma Rho.
